Life and legacy of late Chinese human rights activist Liu Xiaobo focus of next Modern China Lecture
Perry Link, Distinguished Professor of Comparative Literature and Chinese at UC Riverside, will discuss his latest book, “I Have No Enemies: The Life and Legacy of Liu Xiaobo,” 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 20, in-person and on Zoom.
Tony Cheng, who wrote “The Policing Machine: Enforcement, Endorsements, and the Illusion of Public Input,” will discuss his work at noon, Monday, March 18. The program, free and open to the public, will take place on Zoom.
“The High Performance Computing Program at CSUSB supported by the National Research Platform and CENIC has opened up tremendous opportunities for faculty-led innovation and research at our university,” said Samuel Sudhakar, chief financial officer and vice president for the division of finance, technology and operations.
Alumnus William “Bill” Stevenson ’84 was honored with the Coyote Spirit Award at the inaugural Alumni Hall of Fame Awards for going above and beyond to help advance the mission of CSUSB as a dedicated volunteer.
