Cal State San Bernardino will host its second annual 5Kid’s Run on Saturday, April 6, to benefit the university’s Infant and Toddler Lab School.
The event will begin outside the Infant and Toddler Lab School on the north side of the Social and Behavioral Sciences Building, with check-in starting at 9 a.m.
The event aims to raise awareness about early childhood education and the importance of the first five years of education in kids.
Proceeds from the event will provide funding to help student parents continue to receive high quality childcare for their children and will help the CSUSB Infant and Toddler Lab School raise money to support a new infant room set to open in the fall.
The family-friendly event will include a 5K (3.1-mile)  course, a shorter Kid’s Course, and fun activities for children.
The participation fee for the 5K for children and teens, 17 years old and younger, is $10. Adults are $25. For the shorter Kid’s Course option, the fee for children and teens is $5. Adults are $10.
For more information, to register for the event, or to make a donation, visit the Infant and Toddler Lab School website at csusb.edu/5kids-run.
