College of Social and Behavioral Sciences faculty to hold ‘research slam’ on June 10

The faculty of CSUSB’s College of Social and Behavioral Sciences will gather for the inaugural SBS Research Slam, during which some of them will pitch their research project and win funds to support it.

Think “Shark Tank,” but for research: Faculty will have 4 minutes to pitch their proposals to a panel of judges to get their work funded.

The event, which is open to the community, both Cal State San Bernardino and the community off campus, will take place beginning at 2 p.m. Monday, June 10, at the Faculty Center for Excellence, located in the John M. Pfau Library, room PL-4005. Parking at CSUSB is $6.

For more information on the SBS Research Slam, contact Ryan Keating, associate professor of history at rkeating@csusb.edu.
